Account Deletion

Complete data deletion is available directly within the app.

To delete your account and all associated data:

  1. Open the RackMinder app
  2. Navigate to Settings → Account
  3. Select “Delete Account”
  4. Confirm deletion

Upon deletion, all of your data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days, including:

  • All account information
  • All equipment and location data
  • All CloudKit synced data
  • All device associations

This action is irreversible.

Data Retention

  • Active Accounts: We retain your data as long as your account is active
  • Deleted Accounts: All data is permanently deleted within 30 days of account deletion
  • Inactive Accounts: Accounts inactive for 3 years may be deleted after notification

Children’s Privacy

RackMinder is not intended for use by children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

International Data Transfers

As a US-based company, your data may be transferred to and stored in the United States. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international transfers in compliance with GDPR.

Third-Party Services

We do not use any third-party analytics, tracking, or advertising services.

The only third-party service we use is:

  • Apple CloudKit: For secure cloud storage and sync (governed by Apple’s privacy policy)
